Fell off the Face of the Earth!

OK -- so I really didn't fall off the face of the earth! Although, with the last few months being as crazy as they have been, it would have been entirely legitimate reason!

April -- thanks for getting my tushie moving again to post. Every time I go to start up my computer, I think "Hmmm...I should blog today...April would be happy!" LOL

Anyway, we've been crazy busy these last few months. In Spring it was soccer and Russ changing jobs in a big way. Summer brought us Vacation Bible School and yard work and our lake holidays. September has been a big flurry of activity, so I will start there.
In late August, we had to put down our little kitten, Jack, who was only 10 months old. He had cancer, and it happened so fast it was a whirlwind. We got a new little munchkin, who has proven to be quite a handful and is now adjusting quite well to our home. Meet Mickey:

The kids are back in school now, both full time (which I LOVE!!) and we are settling into a routine. Swimming lessons have started and we're looking forward to starting piano, catechism, and --gasp!-- hockey.
Yes, we are starting hockey this year. Curtis really wants to play so I figure -- OK, I can be a hockey mom, right?? I can chauffeur to practises, spend evenings at rinks, and put up with stinky equipment, can't I?

Scrapbooking has been going well! Just Cre8 kits are awesome -- as usual! We're planning something big, Big, BIG so stay tuned for more news about that! Here are some designs that I have created with the Just Cre8 kits these last few months:

And there is more to come! Sue just keeps rocking those kits like it's nobody's business. She has such a great eye for mixing and matching products, and the Skribblz are awesome!

I have a handful of new Just Cre8 stamps I am just itching to use -- and hopefully next week I'll be spending some quality time in my scrapbooking room!

And what's in store this fall for us here? Well -- my sister's getting married and so is a good friend of mine. Two weddings back to back...it should be interesting! And then I am attending the Sail Away Crop in Saskatoon in October -- that will be fun! And my mom and I are taking a trip down to Ontario to spend a weekend with the Just Cre8 girls -- can't wait!

--sigh-- so many fun things to do and not enough time! Stay tuned! And happy scrapping!
