December Daily

So -- guess what I did? I finally finished my own "December Daily" book yesterday. Just in the nick of time, wasn't it? I still have to embellish the cover, but to me it is pretty much finished. This season, everyone is raving about Ali's December Daily book, so a bunch of us on Just Cre8 pitched in and created our own. It's a neat idea -- a mini album that you use to document your journey to Christmas.

Here's mine:
Well, the side of it anyway. In my December Daily, each page is different including materials and design. It is a potpourri of my tidbitz and scraps -- and I love it! Each day as I finish them off, I'm going to share them with you.
The other thing that is different about my December Daily is that it is NOT really a December Daily. I started it yesterday -- November 30 -- the first day of Advent. To me, this is when the Christmas season really begins. So, without further ado, here is my first page:

Needless to say, I was so focused on finishing the book that I totally forgot to take pics of what we did yesterday. I used this page, instead, to reflect on how I want this Christmas to be different. (Our daily activities were added on the side.)
This page does not feel extraordinary to me, but it is nice. Simple, to the point, and tells the story. Not all pages need to be million-dollar pages, hmmm?
I hope you enjoy, and please leave a comment. I love to know what you think of what I do. Feedback fuels -- I am convinced of that!
An update on my little "spirited" man: We've been having wonderful days -- when I talk to him, he listens and we've avoided several significant meltdowns. I'm so glad we are learning to communicate better!

Great job Amanda. Your jounaling is always from the heart and that is better than a picture any day of the week.
